This is a club that I visit rather frequently. While it's nothing special to look at, the dancers are all pertty friendly, looks range from 4-8, and the ratio of girls to guys is usually pretty high, especially during lunch when I normally go. Now, at Henry VIII, dances are $10 before 4pm and all day Tuesday. Last time I was there, I came in around 2pm on a Wednesday and a dancer, who was quite hot (an 8) was coming in at the same time. Since she was just starting for the day, I thought I'd hang out until she changed and did her first set. Things all worked out to plan and after tipping her during her set, she came over and asked if I wanted a private dance. I said sure and we went to the back room. I had part of a song and then 2 full more songs. She asked if I wanted to continue and I asked how much I owed her. When she responded $60, I was quite suprised because was expecting the answer to be $20 (on reflection maybe I shouldn't have been suprised about the full charge for the 1/2 song, but I can live with that). So I said that I thought dances were only $10 in the afternoon. She responded that that was only on Tuesdays. I told her I thought it was every day before 4pm and maybe she should go ask. At that point, she had a very nervous look on her face and said ok, it was only $30. Not wanting to be hussled anymore (and because I had to get back to work), I paid her and went on my way. Just goes to show that asking BEFORE dancing is the best policy and one that I will stick to in the future.
