I have been reading reviews of Chicas Locas and was excited to visit on a business trip to Houston. I really enjoy clubs in Houston, but usually go back home having spent much more money than I planned.

My expectation was high and my initial reactions to arriving at Chicas Locas were not great. It is a very strange building with no sign or building number visable to the street at all. I think it would be better to enter from the back which I will do next time. The building itself is in decent condition, but if feels like you are entering a hotel lobby or an office building. You pay cover in the lobby (I think it was at least $10). Next you encounter a beer bar and are not really inside yet. The beers were 6+. When you enter the club, the bar is very brightly lit and to the right. The buffet is there also, but I did not check it out. I never eat in clubs.

The main area is straight ahead and has a main stage and two smaller stages. The furnature is in bad shape. The fabric on most of the chairs is worn through. Girls rotate through each stage, so they are dancing for 6 songs. Most girls are latina, but I had no issues with language. I also found most girls to be fairly attractive with a mix of sizes, ages, etc.
