Was just down in Mazatlan for a month. Found out about Hipocampo online and asked the locals for their take. Not many tourists will be found here as its downtown and a local hangout. Kind of deserted late at night so can't vouch for safety as I get by looking local after the sun hits me. Anyhow I hit a couple of strip joint before during the weekend and found that mon/tues there is no cover charge, but a lot less girls and just generally slow. The girls are bored and the backroom deals are sure to be had. Cover normally is 30 peso. Back room 200peso, up to you to bargain down from 500peso for the girl. I don't go there. Lap dances are 60peso and that's all I need from them. If you buy them a drink it may just cost the same as your beer which is 25 peso but its another 60peso for them to drink with you. Company as they say. They pulled that one at Tarranda's on me just once. Had a nice thin busty young latina I just had to feel those things and they were nice as she was. Finished my beer and was done. Off to another joint.
