Thursday night, about a week ago....

Thursday night, about a week ago. Traffic delay – waited 30 minutes to get into the harbor tunnel due to construction, so our visit was cut short on the front end. Hadn’t been there in about 4-5 months, so I needed to renew my membership. So, right off the bat, I’m $40 down and 30 minutes late. It can only get better from here, right?

My buddy and I took a seat to the right of the main stage, with our backs to the 2nd stage, along the route to the men’s room. Probably not the best choice of seats.

After about 10-15 minutes, we get our first visitor – I forget her name, but she was around 25, brunette, not a petite girl, and she’d only been dancing a few weeks. She was ok to talk to, she appreciated the cranberry Smirnoff we slid her way, but she didn’t really float my boat. But she wouldn’t leave. I ended up taking her back for a dance in an effort to make her go away. The dance was sub-par, as expected. She continued to stop by our table the rest of the evening. Oh well.
