Decided to brave the possible CES...

Decided to brave the possible CES conference crowd at Sapphire's this past Tues. Arrived around 10pm, and yes, it was jumping! I usually only get to visit this club during the week so I never get the weekend craziness. According to my driver, this night was like a weekend night (and he said he expected the weekend to get even more crowded, if that's possible in this club).

Asked for their free limo pickup and they said yes to an off-strip hotel, which was awesome. There's a $5 service charge when you arrive to the club. Coupled with the tip to the driver and it's about the same as most cab rides, just in a nicer car, but it's cheaper than the $33 cover plus cab fare.

I go between this club and Rhino, and I've never been at Sapphire's when they opened up the whole club because it's been crowded. It's easy to get to that state in Rhino because it's smaller and the layout creates crowded areas. Unlike Rhino, even though it was crowded, the walk ways at this club stayed relatively open so you can get to the ATM or VIP rooms without feeling like you're swimming against the crowd.
