I frequently stop by Mardi Gras...

I frequently stop by Mardi Gras when I'm passing through Springfield, as I was for business a couple of weeks before Christmas. I like the club itself, large and with an upscale feel to it. The stage is unique, with a mote between the stage and where the customers sit so the bar maid can deliver drinks. Sometimes the dancers will cross over the mote and give you a more up close and personal dance.

Mardi Gras used to be my favorite club - always hot girls (8-10), always full nude, usually friendly (but a little too pushy for LD IMO). I've got to agree with the last couple of reviewers - lately it's hit or miss. The last few visits over the last couple of years have made me reconsider my love for this club. I still find some of the girls in the 8-10 range, but they are fewer and farther between now. Full nudity is not a sure thing anymore either. One thing I still find true is that they are too pushy for LD in my opinion. I might be more receptive to their offers, if I didn't find the LD to be so lame. There is absolutely no touching on the customer's part (at least in my experience) - hands at your side. As far as the touching by the dancers, it's pretty much your run of the mill LD. Also, don't waste your money going upstairs to the CR - total waste of money in my opinion. I was kicking myself for weeks after my one trip to the CR a few years ago. This visit was more miss than hit. There were a couple of hot girls, but they seemed to be going through the motions, and weren't friendly at all. The girls that were friendly seemed to pick a few regulars or high tippers and spend the entire time there. That left me, with my dollars out, getting dances from girls I wasn't really interested in. I passed on the LD - past experience telling me that it wasn't worth the money.

Basically Mardi Gras for me these days is just a good place to have a drink or two before heading home where I may get to see some hot nude girls giving me a fairly disinterested dance. There are exceptions, but this seems to be the standard these days. I'll be back, but won't be going out of my way.
