I spent a couple of hours at the Gold Club late Wednesday evening. The talent was fairly impressive; about 20 girls in the 6 to 9 range. Pretty diverse selection. However, I was surprised to find the hustle to be light if not totally absent. While sitting at the bar, I only had one girl approach me, and she really wasn't my type. Later in the evening I had a similar experience at the sister club, Crazy Horse. Pity, I was ready to spend some money. A dancer back in San Antonio had advised me earlier in the week how to handle the various dance options. Avoid the downstairs $20 air dances. Also avoid the 30 and 60 minute upstairs package. Rather, go for the a la carte $30 upstairs individual dances. You have a better chance of increasingly good contact, if not extras.
