This is by far my single favourite club in Montreal. Cover is a $3 tip to the doorman, there is no forced coat check, drinks are reasonably priced ($7 for import beer) and the staff are actually friendly. The variety of the girls you will see here is enormous, ranging from barely legal types to milfs, super thin to BBW, goth to glam. This is the most diverse club I've ever visited in Montreal. Value-wise, dances have been $10 for ages (even when most clubs in the area jacked up their prices to $15 - most have since sheepishly gone back to $10, while Cleo's never tried to take this kind of advantage of its clientele). My favourite dancer there is Dylan, a tall, beautiful girl in her early twenties. She's smart, sexy, funny and gives the hottest dances you can imagine. In my years of going here, only one girl ever tried to overcount on dances. I refused. She brought the doorman over. I explained when we'd gone in the booth (note: always a good idea to take note of whatever song was playing when you first go in for a private dance) and he took my side in the confrontation, apologizing for the incident. I presume this hadn't been the first time the girl pulled that. I've not seen her there since, and this was years ago. I don't think you'll find a friendlier, more diverse or more honest club in town. Note: this review is talking about the downstairs of the building. Upstairs is a drag bar. Good to know this!
