I travel to Jacksonville about 6 times per year. I have tried out most clubs, but Centerfolds continues to be my favorite, followed closely by Wacko's. (I do miss the Doll House and Shye). That being said, Centerfolds is hit or miss, and some days I have a drink (which are cheap during the day) and leave. This particular day, it was a hit.

I arrived mid afternoon, finished with my business in Jacksonville for that day. I sat down at the bar, and was soon joined by a very cute blond dancer. She seemed fit and natural. She told me it was her first day there and she was not enjoying it at all. She told me that she was there because she got suspended from another club for leaving with a customer (sounded like a girl I wanted to get to know better). Anyway, I bought her a drink and then took her to the VIP. She convinced me by saying that she did not care if she got fired, she just wanted to go back to her other club. I don't love the VIP at Centerfolds, as it is a room with an open doorway and another opening that the DJ etc. can see in, and the dances are $30, but hey, I liked the sales pitch. Anyway, she gave some mileage, but not enough to get fired, or to convince me to part with another $30.

I left soon after, I wanted to try Wacko's, but returned to Centerfolds near shift change. This has been a successful strategy in the past to a final good dance from someone who needs the money. The blond from earlier immediately came up to me and asked me what kind of car I had. I described it and she told me to go outside and wait for her. She came out in a few minutes, went to talk to someone else in another car, and then came to me. I was nervous but listened to her pitch. She convinced me, and it was a night to remember.
