Have visited (and reviewed) Blush before, in its many incarnations over the years. A recent Saturday afternoon visit (the only game in town for a weekend afternoon) proved to be a very positive experience, with a surprising amount of dancers working (maybe because of the holiday period?). Most seemed quite friendly and not particularly pushy, though many seem to be sitting around the bar, surprising in that this takes up seats for patrons. In any event, there was a mixture of talent, which I do not regard as a bad thing - I hate when there are only cookie cutter types working - these seem to be real girls, many quite good looking. Drink prices are of course high for Pittsburgh, but there is no cover in the afternoon; an overpriced cover kicks in sometime in the evening. My biggest issue with Blush is their pricing of private dances - $30 each, and 3 for $79! Come on, Blush, your talent level is just not high enough for this kind of charge. Somehow you have confused downtown Pittsburgh with Las Vegas, where they charge $20 per dance as does the rest of the country. This is really inexcusable, and ends up costing you $19 more than it should for three dances, therefore reducing the tips the girls are likely to receive. As always, I do recommend Blush if you happen to find yourself in Pittsburgh (and it is a very handy stop after attending Pirates, Steelers, or Penguins games!), but cannot really consider it a "destination" location.
