This is a Baltimore Block Club...
This is a Baltimore Block Club with a PG feel to it on the inside. The Block is of course littered with Baltimore City cops roughing up the unsuspecting passerby, but strangely did not feel threatening. The guys at the entrance were friendly to a fault as they practically walked me in to pay the $10 cover. The highlight of the evening for me.. well two really were 1. this duo that came on Suga and Spice or some crap like that and did a reasonably good stage show - good use of the poles and pipes above the stage. And 2. There is this bartender chick telling customers that their money was fake ROFL. These two guys handing her money for drinks just took her word for it and went back into their wallets for different bills. Not that I doubt the young lady's counterfeit detection skills, but this is 2012...well 2013 there at machines that do this very well and I'd take their "eep-beep" of approval over hers especially with her cock-eyed look and "It just don' feel right.." WHAT!!?? I did not get any dances but the customers here on my visit seemed to be going through the motions. Not the ideal vibe for a Friday night and what is it with all the females here, mostly dressed like dancers.? Another reviewer mentioned that the club has a narrow entrance but the club extends back a ways - who the heck designed this place? - weird. Another thing that caught my attention was the amount of wires just hanging from the ceiling and ledges behind the counter - cheap electrical work and a unattractive for sure. Hopefully this is temporary The girls appear to Deejay their own music (2 songs) and can be nude, topless or bikini by the end. There did not appear to be an organized rotation but this did not seem to bother anyone else. The MC for the night kept it lively .. he tried . I'll give this spot another chance but, I am not hopeful
