It's been over five years since...

It's been over five years since I've been to Fantasies. At one time it was my favorite club with the hottest, friendliest dancers. Since I've been on hiatus, according to these reviews, Providence clubs have appeared to have gotten better. I had to see for myself.

First reaction when I walked in was, "This place looks the same." No cover before 6 pm. Bar on the left, large stage to the right. Then I noticed the first big difference. Less tables around the stage and more couches. Performers were free to come off the stage and walk around to the couches giving customers dollar cabarets. I settled into one these couches and was pleasantly surprised at how far a couple of bucks could go. Damn, it was almost a lap dance in-and-of itself.

The reason I went on a Tuesday is because I know they have 2-for-1 lap dances Sunday through Tuesday. Lap dances are $25 topless. Great deal, right? Which leads me to the second big difference from five years ago-- there weren't really any girls I wanted a dance from. In fact, there were a couple big women roaming around that if they approached me I think I would have run out of the club. I went to the club expecting to partake in a VIP 15-minute room ($135), but not a single one came even close to sparking my interest.
