my buddy and i came in...

my buddy and i came in twice in the past couple of months. the first time was during a Tigers playoff game on a saturday night. It had been the first time we went in a few years (after management/owner changes and layout). Initial impressions were good with the layout, grabbed a booth and proceeded to order drinks. this night was about checking the place out, and having a couple drinks. the girls that approached us were understanding and a couple spent quite a bit of time with us watching the game. we left with the intention to come back at a later time....

It is the later time, what we remembered from the place a few years back was the food; so we came back later afternoon, early evening for lunch/dinner. We got a booth in the back (away from the traffic around the stages and the front door). the waitress was a blonde hottie that was very attentive, took our drink order, brought us menus and provided recommendations. We decided on the surf&turf special for me and my buddy at the 12oz filet. We had one dancer, D***** join us while we waited for our food, when my friends side salad arrived, she excused herself when she saw we were going to have a meal, so that she could smoke.

On to the food, we ordered our filet medium, it was done just right...the right shade of pink throughout, the edges seared to hold the flavor. My lobster tail was done to the right time. the one complaint, my buddy ordered a 12oz filet, my 6oz filet looked to be about the same size. :-) either way, we were fully satisfied with the quality of the food. we purchased a couple cigars and had a nice relaxing time. all in all, drinks, food, and cigars (purchased at the club), the bill was $160 and that includes the approx. 25% tip. for us, a damn good value.
