The Spice Lounge opened here in...

The Spice Lounge opened here in Charles County this past Thursday. Since Choo Choos closed folks in this area have had to drive elsewhere for there entertainment, of course many folks, including myself, were already doing that anyway as Choo Choos left a lot to be desired in it's last few years.

I visited Friday evening the second day the club was open. I knew going in to the club that no nudity or topless dances would be involved as strict local ordinances prevent that if alcohol is served, but was hopeful to at least have some lap dances. I'll try to go into some detail as this is the first review of the club

Dancer Quality/Numbers/Racial Breakdown- Only 5 dancers were working on a Friday night? 2 caucasian, 3 black. One caucasian dancer was a hot brunette-built like a model, tall and thin, great rack, I'd rate her a 9-10, the others were in the 5-6 range, not bad, but not stunning. Unfortunately, the hot brunette advised me that she lived two hours away and was driving down as a favor to the owner while he tried to get the club up and running, so they will definitely need to improve the talent here.

Club location,exterior, interior- The club is located on Rt. 925 in Waldorf, a back road off of the main highway. Not the best location. I doubt many even know about it, and wonder if how many locals will right away with the location. It is located right next to a large music store- Hot Licks...LOL. you can't make it up..strip club next to a music store named Hot Licks.. The sign out front just says Spice Lounge. No mention of adult entertainment, dancers, etc. People would have no way of knowing what this is, though I guess word would spread soon enough. For those in the D.C area familiar with Choo Choos, this place looks much nicer on the inside than Choo Choos ever did, and really compares well to most clubs I've been to around the country from this perspective. Walk in, the front door, bouncer, girl up front collecting the cover charge. Inside. decent sized open seating area with small tables. with some more comfortable seating along the walls. Bar off to one side and in front a decent sized stage with the DJ station up above it to the right. A VIP area is behind the main room. This room has more comfortable seating and some nice booths around the periphery for lap dances to take place. Additionally, the stage in back can either be partitioned off from the main stage, or kept open so that one dancer is performing for the entire club. Tonight it was kept open as there were not enough dancers to work two stages.
