When I first arrive to Cheeks...
When I first arrive to Cheeks I figured It would be a decent club. I get in and the door man was slightly rude to my friend and I. He did not think my ID was real either, which was very aggravating because I have never been questioned on my license. Anyways, he let me in. Then having to pay $20? I thought that was a bit pricey for a down beat club especially the location it was in. Walking into the club was nice, they were playing good music and the flashy lights were cool. I get to my table and after 20-30 minutes of sitting there, then finally comes on a dancer. Apparently they were all on break? Which is bazaar because I think there should be a dancer on stage at all times. Honestly the dancers were unattractive and looked like they had no dancing experience. For the time I was there, there had only been two dancers on stage. That made my trip to Cheeks pointless because I basically came to see dancers and I didn't. I was easily bored. Then the music started to get worse. Also one of the waitresses walked past me and my table and had to squeeze through and she had said "excuse me" in a very rude tone of voice. About 20 minutes later she walked past us again and my leg was apparently in the way (in which I did not notice) I accidently kicked her leg but apologized immediately and she said "um excuse me I would appreciate It If you would not fucking try to trip me". I was pretty dumbfounded. So I said "my bad, I'm sorry" and I guess she took it in the wrong way and shouted "what did you just say", so I repeated myself. It escalated into an arguement to where at the point we were yelling at each other. The waitress then said "If you make me lose my job and my kid I will fucking kill you", in those exact words. I asked to speak to the manager because speaking as a manager myself, that was very unprofessional and not the way you handle a situation like that. She went and got her manager after I asked several times to talk with him. He finally came over and was very polite with me but had asked what was going on and the waitress said that I was "being a little bitch and running my mouth" , which in fact I disagree. The manager said he would have a talk with her about it, but being a manager myself I know in his tone of voice that he was not going to speak with her only because of how she described how I was apparently acting. All in all this club was a waste in time and money, and as of right now I would never go back to this exact establishment. The only way I would go back is if that particular waitress was not there. I would much rather go to Diamonds down the road than have another bad experience at Cheeks.
