First time visit after reading reviews here and visiting a few other PHX clubs...

Small place in contrast to Christie Phoenix or Dallas clubs. Small, simple entry way with a ticket taker style booth. No cover in the afternoon, but you gotta buy a beer or water on the way in. They also frisk you, only place I've been in Az that does that. Can't blame them I suppose.

Friendly door guy asks me where I'd like to sit; tell him the wall, because that's the place to be. There are 15-20 round tables in the center of the club, a stage on the far side. To the right is the bar and the kitchen, which you can see right into from the floor. No upstairs, no elevated areas. There is the VIP, which doesn't require a fee; it's six booths alongside the entrance, meaning it's closest to the street. Given that the club borders between a commercial district and residential, it's just odd. It's been there for 50 years, so I imagine everyone is used to it. [BTW for a Thursday at 4PM, the parking was tight. Very busy. No valet.]
