I have been to Hollywood frequent...

I have been to Hollywood frequent enough to observe its recent went-down. Hollywood used to be my favorite club in the East St Louis area, and it still keeps some of its good features compared to other brand-name clubs in the neighborhood: more liberal and more reasonable private dance pricing ($25 per song), and free admission before 7pm. I only compare it with brand-name clubs though cause I don't even feel safe to visit other clubs. If you have been to East St Louis you know what I meant.

Still, I have noticed that the gradual fall of the quality of dancers during recent visits. A lot of dancers that I really liked has left the club. Last time I visited I only did dance with a new girl and that was a really bad experience. To be fair it may be seasonal adjustment because there are fewer patrons off baseball season, so dancers don't want to come as often. Fine. But other clubs does not seem to have the same degree of downtrend. Hollywood can't keep its dancers, and they let any girl who pays the club fee dance. There is no screening. (Which is good and bad. I sometimes like to see new faces, and everyone has his preferences. But overall the downtrend is quite noticeable.)

Things are not so bad as to stop me from going to Hollywood. I used to give it a 9 overall now it is like a 7, which is still worth hitting. But I will split more time and money to try other clubs, where previously I didn't think it was necessary. Well, other clubs have feature dancers, special events, poles that dancers can real dance on (yes, Hollywood has no poles), and cheaper drinks. Hollywood has none of these features but is specialized at providing good privates. I consider these features as good to have but marginal, but you will start to appreciate them when getting private dances looks less attractive.
