When I was in my second...
When I was in my second trimester (during mid summer), I visited this club. It reminded me a lot to Cheetah's in Virginia Beach in terms of look, athmosphere, clientele, and staff. I guess it's like the Spic sister club to Cheetah's, IMO. Like most people had mentioned in here, most dancers are larger and by the time I went there I was probably in my "prime" to work there, get it? However, the dancers seemed to have fun and I'm all about having fun at work. I felt tempted to grab my, then, very tiny outfits and no longer fitting shoes and try out but I hesitated because I knew I couldn't do any more Superman on stage (if you don't know what's a Superman, google that pole trick; it's very neat). Now? Those outfits would look less tiny.
My biggest problem with the club was the music; annoying as hell! I'm a white Hispanic, but I hate the living crap out of most Spanish music (except for old merengue, early-mid 90's Marc Anthony, rock and roll, and 90's-early 00's pop), and I'm pretty sure that would kill my mood and my earnings. Still, I have a huge collection of the Spanish music I like and I'm sure I could tell the DJ to play some of it for me if I get to work there. I feel tempted to go back to my dive roots; there's good money to be make at dives like Pretty Girls (that's what "Chicas Bonitas" mean). I guess I'll be one of the few who can actually speak English (I also know other Latin based languages besides Spanish), is not illegal and has only one baby daddy.
