Went to Hurricane Betty's after a really long time on an early Thursday evening around 8:30pm. They seemed to have made a few improvements to this place including more lighting, a VIP room with more privacy, and what seemed like newer private lap dance stalls. Another thing i noticed was a lot of security cameras everywhere including the private lap dance areas. Overall, the club looked a lot better than it used to and you can see the dancers a lot more clearly with the extra light. The drinks are also moderately priced and there was no pressure to buy drinks from either the waitress or the bartender, who were both friendly.

When I first walked in, it was only around 8:30pm or so and not much seemed to be happening. I was one of maybe 3-4 customers who were sitting around by themselves. There were about 5 or 6 girls sitting around also by themselves with one girl on stage who wasn't too interested in being there. I sat at the bar and scoped the place to check out the girls. As the girls went up on stage and walked around, I quickly realized that the quality of girls in this place so far was rather low. Maybe my standards have gone up since the last time I was here but it seemed that most of the girls there should probably be doing laps in the parking lot rather than dancing on stage. Or maybe big butts just aren't my thing. As the night progressed, the place picked up and more customers came in. I did see 2-3 good looking girls to whom I would give a 7 or so but annoyingly they all would come out to dance or get a drink and then go hide in the ladies bathroom or their changing room. It seemed almost seemed the girls would rather hangout in the bathroom with each other than come out and socialize with the clientele. If they had made an effort I'm sure they would be getting more attention than they did. One or two girls who were decent came out and clung to one customer the whole time who would just keep buying them drinks.

I did get two lap dances from two of the better looking girls and it was nice contact and the girls were friendly with no attitude. However, I would think twice before going back on a weeknight. Perhaps the quality improves later at night or on weekends.
