Mario's has been my favorite club...

Mario's has been my favorite club for a long time. My last visit was on a Friday night in November, though I've generally avoided weekend evenings lately. The club itself has been adequately described. It walks the line between being a snooty "gentlemen's club" and being a dive bar. The girls are always beautiful. Most are relatively thin, young white girls; there are a smattering of black, Asian, and Hispanic girls too. Dances are up to $30 each now, which is a disappointment. However, with the right girl, you can certainly get your money's worth from the dance price. They're the most high-mileage dances I've experienced in Massachusetts. There's a lot of grinding and most girls encourage touching everywhere except between the legs. We all know Providence can be better, though that's not a sure thing anymore either, but Mario's has the potential to be top notch too. Rising prices have accompanied greater pressure to go to the private room (I was quoted $165 for 15 minutes), which really isn't especially private if there's someone else there. In fact, the biggest difference is that the private room is brighter than the regular lap dance area. I don't generally associate Mario's as an "extras" club. That said, one dancer suggested the possibility of a manually-provided happy ending if another $100 was forthcoming. I sense that kind of thing is happening more and more. Ever since they banned girls from approaching the guys at the stage to ask for dances I've noticed far fewer people sitting there. But I found it a great way to get attention from girls you're interested in. Weekend nights there are fewer dancers being monopolized by regulars; if you see one you like on stage, sit there and tip. You'll get a damn good show for cheap, especially if there's nobody else at the stage, and she might ask if you're interested in getting a dance when she's done.
