This club is now called Choices CigarLounge. Although the sign still say Thee Mirage on the outside. The layout of this club has changed dramatically. When you enter the club the "old" part of the club has been completely remodeled and is a dance club now. The new layout I do not like. The strip club section must have been storage or the remnants of an old apartment. If you have not been here before, the building is a complex with apartments all around and the entrance to the club in the back. The strip club section is not very well heated and I found to be quite cold. The dance club side of the building is very nice and in the best shape I have ever seen it.

When you walk in the bouncer takes you money. It is now $15 during the week and $25 (I think) on the weekends. It is an open full bar, but the couple times I have been here since the change, they only have bottom shelf hooch and not much in the way of selection on top of that. So I pay my $15 to enter on a Wednesday evening. You go to the left immediately past the pool table and go up a couple stairs. The room is relatively narrow with a bar to the right and the stage in the back. 50 people could not fit in this room. The stage is basically a knee wall with a bench on one side of it. Another bench would not fit on the other side of the stage. The lap dance area is small room with a bench in it with a curtain for some minor privacy. There are about 7 dancers there and as many patrons. The girls were very friendly and talkative but only a couple good looking ones and the rest were average. When you sit at the bench and tip there is a fair amount of one-way contact with the dancers.

I started off by getting a drink, coke and rum. This is not my normal drink, but I don’t think they had any whiskey that looked even relatively consumable. I sat at the bar for a little bit because the bench at the stage had two patrons on it. Anymore and it would be a little too tight for my tastes. While sitting at the bar, other dances will give you a basic chair dance for just dollar tips. I can say I enjoyed that aspect of the experience. After an hour or so I saw one of my regulars was working. After her set, I went to purchase a lap dance from her. I paid the bartender and waited for my dance. The dancer had gone to another area of the bar or in the back, I am not sure. After an hour wait she finally returns. At this point I am a little peeved, I may be a PL, but I don’t like to wait for anything. They know me here and I throw around a little money.
