Found myself in Tampa with some spare time to kill so I felt morally obligated (or would that be immorally?) to make a trip to the infamous Mons. The biggest surprise for a first-timer will probably be the club’s size – one of the smallest I’ve ever spent time in. Despite this visit being on a weekday afternoon there were plenty of dancers on duty, and the day shift here would put most clubs’ rosters to shame. Dancers range from cute to blistering hot, with reasonable variety in age and ethnicity. There’s a stage show to watch but the real business here is the lap dance – pure, unadulterated, fully nude, in-your-face, and grinding on your more sensitive regions. Two-way contact is usually encouraged, but the down side of such a small club is a complete lack of any real privacy – the lap dance areas are on the periphery of the room, and completely open. The hustle factor is high, but the girls are consistently easy on the eyes and most seem to know their business well. While the atmosphere isn’t relaxing enough to make being a regular here very appealing, the quality of what you do get is high.
