Revisited the club in the late...

Revisited the club in the late afternoon. Was kind of a beat mood as my starter on my car was acting up and was deciding where to go. Decided to stop here while I made a few calls.

This place used to be the infamous Candy Store. It was sold, as the police threatened the owner they would shut it doen because of all the drug trafficking going on. (unofficial motto of the CS was (Sex,Drugs and Rock 'n Roll..whenever you needed it). It became Venom about a year ago ,the big beef was that the place was too bright, the dances were too tame and the girls were fugly..triple threat! Well they have better dancers now, in looks and attitude, and several of the big flat screens were turned off making the club thankfully darker. But the big thing was that they introduced private little cabanas in the back.. didn't partake, but you kind of rent then for 15 mins to an hour and then negotiate dances... sounds good. But instead of dropping any cash here I noticed that all the girls were off on their own. There were FEW customers BECAUSE the girls avoided them (not only me) I was approached by one dancer. who was cute and enthusiastic, but I was still making calls to find a garage to fix my car so I turned her down. I finished my calls and waited for another dance....and waited...and waited...and waited. About 10 feet from me and there was the a side stage where, it seemed all the girls were congregating and making motions to dance, but half of them were on their cells....WHILE THEY WERE DANCING!!! They were completely ignoring all the patrons, while having ahen party on the side stage. This points to bad management ( or absent management) which can be a good thing. The only other girl who approached me was a thin little waif who wanted 20 dollars for a floor dance. I think she was clueless. I left to go get my car fixed and luckily got to go to the boat and you can see my review for Raider Reef. Venom deserves another visit if only to see if the rear cababnas can live up to their expectations.
