Visited my fav place on a quiet Tuesday afternoon around 3. The usual hot (mostly) Brazilians were on hand, but the last couple of times I have been there, I seem to spot some new talent that I have not seen before. One such dancer this day was an American, Devon, who had only been there for 10 days she said. Oh-oh...I say to myself..rookies are to be avoided. However she was quite persistent as to the quality of dance that she would deliver, so I accepted the invitation, and away we went. Four dances later, I asked her if she really meant 10 months, vs the 10 days she claimed to have been at the Playhouse. If that is 10 days, than she should be rookie of the year. I loved her style, friendliness, and focus on customer satisfaction. Expensive yes...but good things are worth paying more for.
