Went to The Office on a...

Went to The Office on a Saturday night. This place has opened and closed at least once if not twice in the last two years or so. I first heard of this club about a year and half or two years ago but had a hard time finding it since I don’t come by this part of town much and also since it seems the location where “The Office” is used to be another club and when The Office 1st opened, it still had the sign/name of the old club on the outside – it now has the right name on the sign on the outside of the club.

The office is a black club – all the dancers, staff, and patrons (except me :)), were black on this particular visit The office is a smallish club but pretty nicely appointed inside. It has a small bar on the side and one main stage. There isn’t much sitting especially on Fr/Sat nights. It has a very large parking lot since it resides in an industrial part of town which has many warehouses - the club itself shares the parking lot with a row of warehouses which are closed during the evenings so there is ample parking. The 1st half of the parking lot is reserved for paid parking but the 2nd half (back part) is free. There is a guy with a large golf cart (cart sits around 6 to 8) that gives rides to people who park in the back up to the front of the club, but he expects a tip (can’t blame him – he probably just works on tips). There is decent security both inside and outside the club.
