I made two stops at Christies...
I made two stops at Christies on a recent Saturday. The first was during the afternoon, around 3 pm. I was one of about 4 guys in the place, with around 6 dancers working. It was actually kind of pleasant, a nice chance to relax and have a beer without too much noise or pressure. A few of the girls came and sat with me, and a couple inquired about dances. I ended up getting a couple from Serena, a pretty brunette. She gave a very nice couch dance, better than others I have gotten at CC on previous visits. I stopped by again later that night, around 11, and what a change. There must have been 200 guys inside the place. Every seat was taken, there was smoke and mist (from their fog machines) everywhere, it was loud as hell, and the waitresses outnumbered the dancers. Seriously, there must have been 40-50 waitresses running around, with one coming by every few seconds to sell drinks, but where the hell were all the dancers? There looked to be only about 15-20 of them working, most of them occupied with an enormous party that was taking up half the club with reserved tables. 200 customers to 20 dancers is not a good ratio IMO. Over the course of an hour I was approached by 15 waitresses and zero dancers. I guess it's a mark of success, but this place was just too busy for me. Let's see -- entry w/membership was $5, beers were $5.25. Parking is plentiful and well-lit. If you like to be in the middle of a big, noisy party, go in the late evening; if you like a quieter time, or some personal attention from the ladies, afternoons look like a good deal.
