The Booby Trap is one of several clubs in the Pompano Beach (PB) area. Pompano Beach is about 20 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale where there are no strip clubs. On a recent vacation to the area, I visited most of the clubs in PB and went into the Booby Trap a few times. This is a fun club with lots of dancers at all times from lunch until very late. The Booby is somewhat of the hangout for locals. There's no admission charge except for a dollar for parking, you can get lunch for free from noon until 7PM and the girls are very friendly. You can watch the dancers on two stages, get a $10 nude lap dance at your table or while standing or sitting at the bar. They also have private rooms for full grinding at $25 a song. And drinks were reasonably priced. I went in a few times over the course of a week so I did enjoy all of the above. But - and I don't mean butt. There were a couple of things where I couldn't give this club the highest marks. My first issue is that there were always a lot of smokers in the Booby Trap - so much smoke that I had a sore throat after every visit. The second problem is that the south Florida club scene is very competitive and that means you need a lot of dancers and the Booby Trap doesn't get the best at least by my standards - lots of 5s and 6s but no one above a 7. A couple of the dancers seemed to be a bit old to keep dancing. On the other hand, there were some smoking hot bartenders ever time I went in the Booby. So enjoy the free lunch, get a couple of dances with a very friendly girl and go to Cheetahs or Diamond Dolls for the real lookers in Pompano Beach.
