This is a combo review based...

This is a combo review based on five visits, four on weekdays and one on a Friday. The last visit was in the past month. Diva’s is a unique club. It has a lot of space inside, with a lot of tables and couches along the wall. The club has some unique dynamics. I’ve been there around 8 or 9 and seen only one dancer go on stage over the span of an hour. By the way, that was only for two songs, and that was only after I asked if anyone was dancing that evening. The club picks up later (after 10) or on Fridays. Strangely, this does not always reflect that no dancers are there, but for some reason they tend to spend an inordinate amount of time in their dressing room. On the upside, when things are really slow, they waive the cover. But, then again, you get what you pay for. Also, although hard to believe, I've been told by several dancers that the club is hopping at lunchtime.

The club has a range of prices for dances – 2 topless for $30 in a couch room, 3 nude in separate rooms for $50, or VIP for $150 (same rooms as the nude dances but for, as I recall, 30 minutes, plus a drink is included). The prices are posted on a mirror near the doorway to the fun area. Also, for better or worse, they tend to operate on a prepay basis, which is both good and bad for everyone involved. The mileage not only varies by dancer but also by management’s policies. When I first went there, the mileage was pretty good. Then, as you will read on this board, apparently, one of the customers wrote a revealing review, and management started buckling down. The private rooms have curtains, and security began sticking their heads in once per song. The last time I went the curtains were left closed.

The dancers tend to be transient. By that I mean that over the span of four months almost all of them have left and been replaced by new dancers. They cover most of the typical sizes, races, and looks, but this is not the place to go to meet a series of 9s or 10s. Still, you will meet some solid 7s and 8s (and lower, if that’s your preference), who are nice and will take care of you.
