Business being over on Thurs and...
Business being over on Thurs and having a Friday flight home to the Mid-Atlantic, I thought I'd explore the local establishments. I ended up discovering Scuttlebutts just after dinner. I guess that was a shift change. The place was almost empty except for two drunken locals who were celbrating someone's birthday and making it rain singles for whoever was on stage. There were mostly sets of 2 chairs seperated by a small table throughout the room. The was one stage with 2 poles. there were about 6-8 seats at the bar. Right behind the station of the guy who takes the cover charge at the door was a pool table. Only one girl was circulating and was young, pretty and easy to talk to, but she was the next dancer on stage. Tipping the dancers was no-contact, lay it on the stage. I saw the parade of dancers coming in the door for the new shift. I didn't see any who were not young and pretty. mostly 7-8's IMHO. After 3-4 dancers with no one coming out of the dressing room to work the room, I guess I just lost interest and didn't want to wait around after my second beer. So I can't tell you about any couch dance opportunities. Drink price wasn't bad. Less than $4.00 for a beer. If you don't want to mingle with the tourists in "the Quarter", this place has potential. Maybe it was a right place at the wrong time sort of thing.
