The Downer remains my all-time favorite...

The Downer remains my all-time favorite club, and this visit did nothing to change my mind. Got in before cover was charged (if there even was a cover on a not-terribly-busy Monday), and hung out for most of the evening. There were a healthy number of dancers, and unfortunately some of the more unappealing ones kept coming around, and around, and around, with the "wanna dance" question. But the good ones are oh so good...hot, friendly, unpretentious, playful, and on an absolute mission to make sure YOU have a good time. I've never been to another club where the dancers are so consistently eager to please (within legal limits), instead of just stringing you along to maximize $$$$ spent. Took several girls back for lap dances, and two in particular for extended sessions that left me wonderfully drained (with considerable recuperation time needed in between). I wish I was a local, and I can't wait to return. (If only they could make the bathroom a little less scary...)
