I come to richmond a lot on business. So I ended up at the Candy Bar one wednesday night when I just didnt want to be stuck sitting in the hotel anymore. It was 10 dollars to get in and they gave me some bracelet to put on to this day I still don't know what it meant or what it was for. The room was shaped like a long rectangle. The bar was on the left and the stage for dancers was on the right along the wall in the center of the club. I stepped to the bar to get a drink. A beer was about 4.50 I think. Then I went to find a seat which was easy since there were only about 5 dudes in the club.

Once I picked out a seat and got comfortable I noticed there were about 12 dancers out on the floor. Most were sitting in chairs around the stage. There were only one or two dancing on the stage at any given time. 90 percent of them were black or mix race. Most of them were at least ok in the face and all the bodies were nice. For a change I didnt see any fat girls out begging trying to get sympathy dollars. I was sitting in the chair maybe 5 mins before two girls came over to talk. it was very casual for a few mins before they asked if I wanted a dance in VIP. The price was 20 per song and it was a little bit rushed but it was enjoyable. ill definitely make a trip back unless i hear of another spot along the same style
