Made a visit to Flashdance on...

Made a visit to Flashdance on a Thursday to see how the club was doing. Parking out back - decently monitored - $5 reasonable for someone to keep an eye on your car. If you drive a nice car - tell the attendant and they will usually let you park on the side so you can get out with ease - I usually tip another five on the way out- small price to pay for peace of mind. Cover was $10 this night. I find this club to be a hit and miss club. I have been there before and thought the dancer quality was good and usually at least two or three real good lookers. Unfortunately, this was just not one of those nights. Once I got inside the club I found it was moderately busy with a predominantly black clientele. Music was good and the DJ kept the place moving with Hip Hop music mostly. This was one of those nights that most regular SC patrons hate. Tons of customers and a max of seven dancers I could see. Of the seven dancers only one was above a 7 and the remaining six were fives at best and almost all heavyweights. This club is a party club - the good news the clientele also usually consists of some very hot women. It is though, sad when the customers are ten times better looking than the dancers. One bright light is the bartender - a hot blonde with great personality and a brain to boot. The other bartender was huge like most of the dancers and disinterested. It seems the dancers on this night just were not interested in making money and kept by themselves and were totally unenthusiastic on stage. They were rarely tipped and didn't seem to care. They do offer VIP rooms - I would not feel totally safe going back there in this club so it is kind of a moot point. Management presence is almost non-existent - bouncers stand idly by while customers get on stage and act ignorant. This club has so much potential - just seems no one is on the job. Wont be going back any time soon and I can't recommend it to others unless you just want to party with some good music. Heck you can do that at home....
