After all the hype I finally decided to go to Diamonds of Atlanta. I was a friend of club promoter who was throwing a party there that night. As you already may know this is the old Body Tap but it has been renovated nicely but at the expense of new customers. The outside and the inside look real nice a far cry from the dancers. It had everything from fake palm trees to funny looking colored mirrors to velvety couches to of course flat screen TVs. The taxation starts as soon as you get to the parking lot. $10 to park in the gravel and $20 to park on the pavement. I think it’s normally $20 cover charge but because I was on the guest list it was only $10.

The taxation does not stop once you pass the door. The only place to sit for free is the few bar stools next to the bar. But if you want to sit down anywhere else your coming out the pocket at least $40 and up. The dancers were a real let down. They were a bunch of average looking in shape females. They were not on the same level as a Magic City or Onyx. They weren’t terrible looking just not what you would expect from a place that costs so much. Its $10 for air lap dances. The good thing about the club is that there were a lot of people there including females. So this is more of a party atmosphere than a typical chill strip club. I am more of the chill type so I probably will not be returning.
