I had always thought of Texas clubs as great. Dallas and Houston definitely. Trip through Austin changed that impression.

Went to Landing strip one night (see separate review) and then this another just to make sure it was Austin and not the Landing Strip. It seems to be Austin. Don't get me wrong. Place was nice enough, people friendly, bathroom clean, service attentive. Dancers were 6-7 with maybe one 8. Lots of tats -- though pretty run of the mill these days. Talent level not great but close to norm for most clubs. Dances extremely tame with light one way action. Seems that Austin is very restrictive. Personally, wouldn't go out again to club in Austin. It's okay if you are looking for a neighborhood bar vibe to hang out, drink and watch the ladies. But very different scene from what you would expect in Houston or Dallas.
