I was in Bend for a ski trip at Mt. Bachelor and the snow was no good, so my friends and I decided to check out Stars. I had been to some clubs in Portland which were dismal, so I wasn't expecting a lot out of Stars. Therefore I wasn't as disappointed as I may have been. There is one small stage where the girls do a very short dance. The lack of enthusiasm on the part of the dancers may have been because the customers were pretty bored too. But come on, this was a Friday night. I had two "lap" dances--"lap" in quotes because my lap remained completely untouched. The only good news to report is that there was no cover charge, the beer was only $2 a bottle, and nobody hassled us to buy anything. Bend is a nice little town, and if anyone wants to run a good club there I'm sure they'll make a lot of money. For sure you won't get any competition from Stars.
