Arrived at the club at 9pm...
Arrived at the club at 9pm on Saturday. The club is near an area of SF that's right by Chinatown/North Beach which is dead center to all the Broadway clubs, so there are quite a few gentlemen's clubs and bars that you can chose. One big negative - parking is sparse and because of that I had to pull into a parking structure and at a rate of $2.00 a half hour nearly had a coronary.
With the decadence of the huge flashing neon sign on the side of the building and the large lights that were shining from the ground into the night sky, one would think that this club is something special. I was greeted by the bouncer who checked my ID, before allowing me to head down the stairs to the lower level where the club is located. Paid the 15 dollar cover charge and entered a fairly dark room. At the time, I noticed there were only a few patrons mixed in with a few dancers. The bar is the first thing I saw on the right. To the left is the main club where in the middle of the room is a dancing stage and pole. The club was a smaller than I had expected, but I would say that it had more tables for patrons than the Gold Club in SF which is a big bonus because I when you come back from a private dance you could still find seating.
Aside from a full bar, it also had a dinner menu which is a plus, but I never ordered any food items just stiff drinks. There were a few really cute blonde waitresses floating around getting drink and food orders from the patrons. The themes of the night was suppose to be a Halloween dress-up party so a few patrons and most of the dancers were wearing some nice costumes. One of the best costumed dancers was in a Princess Leia outfit and she really rocked the look. Overall the talent of the dancers were a little sub-par. Most of the dancers did not make an effort to work the pole or had any extravagant dance moves when their turn came up. It didn't help that the club itself had a low ceiling and the pole only seem to extend about 10-12 feet above the dancing platform. As with all alcohol serving strip clubs in California, dances are only topless not nude(they really need to change that statute). So dancers begin with standard bikini dance on the first song followed by a topless one on the second.
