PT's Showclub is the only strip...

PT's Showclub is the only strip club in the Portland, Maine area, so if you are in the area and looking for a place to go see some strippers it's the only choice you really have. Since they have no competition, pricing here isn't so good. There is an $8 cover charge Sunday to Thursday. There's also a $5 fee to use the lap dance room that goes to the club. (You pay this fee once, and then can go for as many lap dances with as many strippers as you want. Each stripper, of course, will charge per dance.) The club itself is nice on the inside. There is a stage in the middle area and plenty of seating. The bar has some seating, and drinks aren't too expensive. Paid $5 for import beer at the club. This club is not a full-nude club due to Maine law, so it's just topless dancing. If you sit at the stage you should tip at each song as is typical at most strip clubs.

Dancers here are overall 6s-8s. When I sat down within a few minutes one sat with me and we talked a bit. I didn't feel like a dance from her and she left. Shortly thereafter a very cute blonde sat down on my lap and convinced me to go for a dance. Dances here are not done in private rooms, but just a big lap dance room with spaces for each person. You might be facing another customer getting a dance if it is busy/crowded. They really ought to improve the setup of these lap dances. Despite this, the lap dance I had provided for pretty decent contact. Dances are overpriced, though, at $25 each. I had one and then went back to sit down and finish my beer, then a very cute brunette sat down with me. She convinced me to go for a dance as well, and the contact was great. From there, rather than spend $25 per dance, I thought I'd ask about the VIP room the DJ kept mentioning. VIP here is interesting because you pay $150 to $300 per hour for a VIP room, and then pay $200 to $400 per hour for the dancer. The VIP room cost depends on the type of VIP room you get. These rooms are all upstairs. The dancer fee is negotiable based on the dancer. You probably should not be paying more than $300 for an hour. I managed to negotiate my hour down to $250, but this is because they were not super busy. VIP experience was okay. No extras in the VIP were had, but there was very good contact and grinding the entire hour. No cameras or interruption in the VIP, though someone does come by to give a reminder when 5 minutes are left in your hour.

This being the only strip club in the area, if I came back to the Portland area I would go again. This is not a bad club, it just is overpriced. If they had some competition I think it would curb the cost since people would have options. The club location is easy to access off I-95, and is pretty close to the airport, too, which is a plus.
