I am new to this website,...

I am new to this website, but certainly not new to the scene. Being a global consultant, I frequently take business trips out of the states. Keops, which I remember more for the address (a co-worker told me it was on hamburger street), could not be described as a pleasant experience. My main concern with this club is how they blatantly rip off customers.

I have been to two clubs in Mexico City, and compared to the American and European scene, there is constant feel of danger. Specifically at Keops, the bouncers all look like thugs and are very confrontational. The girls are pushy, and few speak English until after you pay them.

One of the girls I liked, Merli (she goes by ‘Patricia’) inside the club, told me that a 5 song backroom dance cost USD $50. I agreed to the dance. The entire time in the back, the owners looked at us and I was not allowed to touch her. After the dance was over, I was charged USD $130!!! With the bouncers around, and no knowledge of Spanish, I was stuck with the bill. The girl was pretty, but I am wary of going to any more clubs in Mexico City without a trusted translator.
