Rose City is still one of...

Rose City is still one of my favorite clubs in Portland, but I'm disappointed that they recently installed cameras in all of the dance booths. Several months ago they greatly improved the privacy of dances by putting up curtains between each couch instead of one big open room. But apparently they had an incident recently that prompted them to install the cameras and a panic button the dancer can hit to call the bouncer if there's a problem. I can understand the need for dancer safety, but I'm sure the cameras will also reduce the mileage. Still a great place to hang out and fun dancers, just not as much fun without the privacy.
