It's been awhile since I have felt ripped off at one of our local clubs. Well, Silk Milwaukee wins this honor. Sadly, it has changed. Background.....their Juneau Wisconsin Club is bleeding money; they're lucky if there are 15 guys in there on a Friday night. So, they squeeze the patrons of their other clubs. This revue is for the Milwaukee club...but I have no doubt the lack of customers at the Juneau location is hurting them. So it goes. I averaged $200 a night, twice a month at the Silk Milwaukee club. But they've been getting worse and worse. The atmosphere is nice, 25% of the girls are hot, but getting your moneys worth is becoming extremely difficult. Weekend drink prices are $5.25 for a domestic beer. Lap dances are average, $20 a dance......BUT is it too much to ask they last at least 2 1/2 - 3 minutes? They parade the girls around twice a night trying to sell T-shirts and hats along with two lap dances for $40 bucks. Might be a good deal if the hat and t-shirt is something someone would want to wear...a shirt that says, "I love strippers"...really? Who the hell's going to wear that? And... here's my main gripe, spent $20 for a lap dance that lasted less than 2 minutes...about 1 minute 30 seconds to be exact ! DJ to blame?...don't know...$20 for a one-and-a-half minute lap dance is a joke. The entire night the songs seemed way too short. Silk could learn one important marketing lesson...money earned once is nice...money earned many times over is better. I was a great customer, but I won't be back any time soon...with this economy, I'd think they'd do whatever they could to keep business...but they're getting cheap and the real loss is to the dancers who bust their ass working there. How hard can it been to tell the DJ that every song is to be 2-3 minutes long? Really guys? You're willing to loose customers because songs are so short that it's a joke to even get a lap dance? Why bother...I recommend checking out On The Border!
