So a girlfriend of mine from Florida flew up to spend some time with me, and we decided to hit the strip clubs. We went to The Cheetah on Wednesday, but that was a bust (no stripper poles...really?), and we left after 30mins, $45 lighter ($3 to park, $20 for tips, and $22 for drinks). After reading some reviews on yelp about the best strip clubs in Atlanta, we decided to head to Follies.

We arrived around 9pm. The main parking lot was about half full. After paying the $5 mandatory valet parking fee, we were felt up by security checking for contraband. Upon entering the building, we had to show ID, pay $10 cover charge each, and then walk through a metal detector which beeped EVERY time for EVERYone, necessitating another TSA-like feelup from a second security guard.

Finally, we were both cleared to enter the premises. It was a welcome sight to see a dimly lit room with black light, especially after the bright lights of The Cheetah. It felt like a club atmosphere. The music was loud and rocking to hiphop. The air was a bit hazy, and there were strippers everywhere. My girlfriend and I picked an open table near one of the two stages and were promptly visited by a drink girl. After ordering out drinks, we had a chance to scan the scene.
