I was last here almost 7 years ago and there have been a several improvements in this place. From the outside it still looks like a dump, but inside they seem have spent some money in fixing it up: new stages, with 2 poles on the main stage and 1 on the satellite. Bar stools were in good shape, as were the seats in the booths along the wall. Instead of the communal VIP room they used to have -- several couples in the one room together -- they now have several small phone-booth sized rooms with one chair and a curtain to close off the doorway, so you have privacy but in a small space.
After years of being a juice bar, they finally got a liquor licence, and the bar seems to be well stocked. The waitress was really cute and friendly, but doesn't do dances. While I was there there was always a dancer on each stage -- they get topless but keep bottoms on and don't flash. I saw no tipping during their dances, and there was not much of a tip parade after they finished their set. Soon after you arrive and order your drink, a girl will come to you and ask if she can keep you company -- that can involve some tips, a fair amount of mutual groping, she'll probably ask you to buy her a drink, and suggest a visit to the VIP room. If the first girl doesn't appeal to you, she'll move on, to be replaced by another.
The down side is that everything is more expensive than I'm used to for a club of this class: $6.50 for a soda, $8.50 for a dancer drink, $5 cover, $10 (one time) for the wrist band to get into the VIP rooms for a LD or other activity. They do occasionally offer a $5 special price for any drink.
