In town on business, and after a late Friday night working, left the office and ventured to Gold Rush as it was closest place to my airport hotel ($12 cab). Overall detailsas follows:

Club:-- functional. Nothing too special with a couple of bars and a very long main stage, but the dancers working on top of the bars was a nice touch. Just a few pool tables tucked into the back. Drink prices were fair, even when ordering for the girls, although service was a touch slow. Overall, club was not as corwded as I expected, but it wasn't empty either. probably a nice balance of busy action without having to struggle for a table or dancer's attention. It is a smoking club though, so you are unlikely to come back smelling like a rose. Will say the bouncers were very polite and seemed helpful. A pleasant change.

Dancers:-- A very mixed crowd, generally average to good looking, not a lot in the 8+ range, , and a few standouts. My shift skewed primarily black, with a mix of latino and white girls also, did not spot any asian ladies in my time. A great variety in looks and body types though, with tall thin, spinners, natural and enhacned. What i though was surprising is that their was very little action around the stages, as far as guys lined up to donate dollars. But the girls work a three song set anyhow, and aren't too pushy nor too flashy performance wise. The girls didn;t hustle much at all really. I spent my time with two girls mainly, one who sat down for a chat and we took a dance later, and one I sought out.
