I was staying in Roanoke overnight...

I was staying in Roanoke overnight on a Tuesday and was able to visit the Gold and Silver Private Club. I was in a hotel near an I-81 exit and used a GPS unit to get to the club. Generally, strip clubs in Virginia are very limited - no nudity, no touching, no fun! I was surprised by the reviews I read of Gold and Silver and had to give it a try. This place calls itself a private club and requires a membership, which was very easy to get, $20 for 6 months with a valid ID. Once you have your membership card the cover is $10. I suspect the private club format allows this place to behave like strip clubs in other states with less restrictive laws.

The club has two floors. The first floor has a single stage, bar, pool table, and seating. Above the stage the second floor is open and patrons can sit around a railing and look onto the stage from above. The pole extends through the ceiling and I saw a couple of dancers climb up to the level of the second floor patrons – WOW!

After entering I bought a water for $2.50 and sat near the stage. The dancers were on 3 song sets played from a jukebox and would strip until nude. I counted 10 dancers, eight were white, two black, and all were young and hot. I watched four of them dance and tipped at the stage. After a while one approached and asked if I was interested in a private dance. She explained that it was $20 per song, she would strip down to only her panties, and that she didn’t mind touching. She was such a doll that I didn’t want to refuse so I gave it a try. The lap dance area is an upstairs open room with love seat sofas. There are no partitions but it was so sparsely populated it hardly mattered; and once she started rubbing her gorgeous body all over me and letting my hands roam over her soft skin I got lost in a little fantasy world anyway. She was really good at her job. Afterwards I watched another couple of dancers and had another lap dance from a different dancer who was equally as good as the first.
