First visit to BT's. Located just east of Ford headquarters. Valet parking ($7) and coat check required (tip). Cover was $10. If you are on a budget it costs about $20 just to see what is going on. Club layout has a large center stage, which 2 or 3 dancers share. There were some side stages not being used. Music in the club was about 10 decibels too loud to talk easily with the dancers. The chairs next to the stage were sideways to the stage which was not very comfortable on your neck. Spent about 10 minutes at the stage edge and then headed to the bar. Drinks were on the high side price wise. There were about 20 dancers, all at least 5 or 6 level and several in the 8 to 9 range. At one point they had all of the dancers promenade around the stage at the same time. Good opportunity to check them all out. Most seem very friendly and easy going. A couple of dancers sat with me at the bar to shoot the breeze. The private dances are in a VIP area which had about 20 cubicles with curtains; each cubicle was about 4 ft by 4 ft. The cost to enter this area is $20 so if you decide to do a 1 song private you are in for $45 ($20 + $25). Hooked up at the bar with a tall slim friendly dancer and negotiated $100 + $20 for unlimited songs. Once back in the cubicle the dancer was very passionate. Stayed there fooling around for about 12 or 14 songs. Got hit with another $20 when I left because of the excessive time. No problem, I was still happy. Big tip to the dancer for being such a sweetheart. Overall the quality of this club justifies the price. I will return on my next visit to Detroit.
