Diamond Royale was hard to figure...

Diamond Royale was hard to figure out I stopped in on a weekday afternoon. The building looks "down on its luck," in need of a coat of paint and some carpentry. There's a huge parking lot with easy access, near a busy shopping mall. The club was large inside but nearly empty; a few regulars were sitting at the bar. There was a dancer on the stage, but the lighting was so low that I could only make out a silouette of a woman. The bartender was friendly and very attractive (as it turns out, a former dancer). One of the shift dancers sat down with me and we had a drink together; she was attractive and pleasant company, but did not offer a table dance or anything else. The place may be super-cool late at night, but in the afternoon it was just dark and boring.
