Arrived at the Strip Joint around...

Arrived at the Strip Joint around 5pm on a Thursday, and paid my $10 cover, which includes a drink. I was very surprised at how many customers were there only a couple hours after the club opened (which is 3pm on weekdays). I counted somewhere around 15 guys sitting around, but there seemed to be only 5 or so dancers. Though it was hard to tell exactly, since most of the girls spent most of their time in the dressing room. Now this is a disease that Strip Joint has been suffering for all the years that I’ve been going there. And this trip it was an epidemic. For the hour and a half or so I was there, much of the time the floor and stage was empty. And after about a half hour, most of the customers bailed, leaving maybe 5 guys left.

As far as the dancers, there were only a couple who caught my eye. Prada is a pretty black girl who I didn’t recognize from previous trips, though I do recall a SJP regular named Prada. And there was another light-skinned black (?) girl (Princessa?) with a nice body. But otherwise the talent wasn’t all that great. One long-time regular, Tender, was there, but while she’s a nice girl and apparently a good lapper, she’s really not my type. There was also a super curvy blonde with big, wavy, kinda glamorous hair, and she had a huge butt. And she was almost my type, but a little bit too big. I still was considering doing some laps with her, but it never happened.

Anyway, I got laps from three girls, and, in general, it seems the lap mileage has improved only slightly from the way it has been for the years I’ve been going to SJP. There’s more stick shifting, but in general the most important aspect of lap dance quality is missing. And that is intent. The girls still don’t seem to be trying to get you off, but rather to get you into the VIP. Which doesn’t mean that you can’t get off with a lap dance (which I did), but it’s just going to take a bit more effort with the right girl. And the $75 VIP is a pretty good deal if you get the right girl I suppose, compared to the typical $100 or more VIPS at other clubs. But for those not into VIP’s, SJP still isn’t one of the highest value lap dance clubs. But I’d still rate it in the top 5, or even the top 3, for a fun, relaxing place to come and watch girls and get high mileage laps without being hassled every 10 seconds by a waitress. Any club where the stage dancers come down to the railing and place the guys' hands on their tits is a fun place....
