The Junction was my second home...
The Junction was my second home while stationed with the US Army at Ft. Eustis. Had many meals there. Became quite friendly with a particular bar tender and a couple of the dancers, and knew one of the bouncers well (he was in my Army unit).
Service was excellent, even for strangers. Once, upon returning from a deployment, my favorite bartender girl greeted me with a BIG HUG when I walked in the door.
Both she and one dancer in particular were hot, and friendly. Lot of conversations about the sexes and intimacy. I once traveled several miles on a particularly rainy night to see the dancer at a topless bar in another town. After that, we were still great friends, but the thrill was gone. Still liked her though.
The bar had a stale odor when you first walked in, but what the hell, it was a beer bar, with lots of tobacco smoke.
Owner was former military, and rules were rigidly enforced. Bikers were there, but were behaved.
