I had the afternoon free and had to be in near Providence, so decided to do something that I have been wanting to do for a while - I did a strip club crawl. I went to virtually every club in Providence from about 2 PM to about 4 PM and will be entering reviews for each. The only club I didn't go to was Satin Doll both due to its inconvenience - you need to go into the city and pay for parking - and because it is a bikini bar - I mean, what's the point?

I have recently written a review of Desire, so check out that review for more detaisl on the club - this review is only to compare and contrast to the other clubs.

First, this is clearly the nicest of all of the clubs in terms of physical club - and actually one of the nicest clubs I have been to anywhere. Second, this was the busiest of the clubs - there were dozens of customers and at least 10 dancers. For early afternoon on a Wednesday, that is a great testimony to the club. However, most of these guys are regulars, which brings me to number 3. Not a single girl came over to talk. I did end up talking to one as she came over to talk to one of the guys who works there and I was in the midst of asking him a question. All of the girls were with other guys at the bar or sticking to themselves - you need to be more aggresive at this club to find a girl. Forth, the girls were on the most part fairly attractive BUT not a single one met my perfect girl who is young (under 25) and petite. Don't think there was a single dancer there under 30 and most of them had a decent sized rack - only one girl looked youngish and had smaller boobs but she certainly didn't look like she was in college. Lastly, no hassle factor whatsoever. No one asked if I wanted a drink and when I went looking around and was poking around near the CR, I was told to look around. Very nice remodel - looks like comfortable CR but there is a window in the door and many of th rooms had a mirror, so it isn't as private as the new lapdance rooms. While Desire is not my personal favorite, it is my 2nd favorite club in Providence and if you want older more experienced dancers and a plusher environment, definately a club to visit.
