Probably my favorite club in Montreal And I've been to Chez Paree and Wandas for comparison.

There are others that are fancier and with hotter dancers, but overall I find Club Downtown to be a lot more laid back and that money really goes a long way. There's a pretty cheap cover when you enter, usually $5 or $10. If you tip the doorman he'll give you a seat that's closer to the middle or to the stage. I usually go for the bucket of beer in order to get a decent value. Usually $30 for half a dozen domestic Canadian beers.

There's a small stage in the middle that constantly has a dancer up there for a three song rotation. The stage dancing doesn't have much energy and I'd say the one thing id ask for is a bit more enthusiasm or experience on the pole. for The dancers are around walking back and forth, but not at all pushy.
